# Logs

> A searchable history of your habits and activity.

Logs bring manual entries and connected-source records into one place. Use them to inspect what happened, when it happened, and how much you recorded.

## Record an activity

Open Chat and describe the activity in your own words. Include a quantity and time when they matter: “I ran for 30 minutes this morning.” You can also use voice input.

Review the resulting entry in Logs. This gives you a concrete record to check before relying on a summary or trend.

## Bring in existing records

[Connect a source](/integrations) to collect records automatically, or [import existing data](/product/imports). The data available depends on the source and its sync status.

## Find a record

Search Logs to inspect individual events. For broader questions, use [Metrics](/product/metrics) to explore changes over time or ask [Chat](/product/chat) for a summary.
