You don’t need to track everything to get value from Ritual. Pick something you want to understand and build from there.

Get the app

Download Ritual, open the app, and sign in. Complete the setup prompts to reach your workspace.

Add your first log

Open Chat and describe something you did, such as “I ran for 30 minutes this morning.” Include the amount and time when they matter. Review the resulting record in Logs.

Connect a source

Open Integrations and choose a device or service you already use. Follow its connection instructions, then check for imported records. Available data and sync timing depend on the source. For computer activity, use Ritual on your Mac and follow the watcher setup prompts. Computer activity explains what the watcher collects and how to exclude apps.

Find your integration

Check supported providers, the data they contribute, and how syncing works.

Explore your day

Use Logs to inspect individual records and Analytics to look for trends. Calendar gives you a view of your schedule across a day, week, or month. Once you have some records, ask Chat a specific question:
  • “Summarize my day.”
  • “What apps did I use most this week?”
  • “How often did I exercise this month?”
Start with a date range that contains data. If something is missing, check the source’s connection and sync status.

Make it a routine

Keep tracking the same thing for a few days, then come back with a question. A consistent record is more useful than a long list of habits you never log. Explore Ritual’s features for more ways to work with your data.
